Is there any jrock hair style that i can do with a medium bob hair style?

right now, my hair is a medium bob. it was sapose to be shorter and have layers, but the stylist had alot of appointments and it seemed like my hair was taking too long, so she just SKIPPED the layers and didnt cut it short as i wanted it. ive been trying to put my hair up(spiked out) and i tried teasing it, but it looked so rediculous! and i have thin hair too... so any help please? i just want a jrock hair style that i can work with . :( thanks!!Is there any jrock hair style that i can do with a medium bob hair style?
If you just want to style your hair, try teasing out the top, shortest layers, and use a fine comb to gently smooth out the loose hairs, so it won't look so messy, and then use hairspray to keep it in. But be careful not to over do it, or it'll be more scene than j-rock/vk.





If you want to get it cut again, try asking for choppy layering, because that works well with thin hair, and looks good.

My hair is cut into an extremely angled bob. It is short in the back and hits just below my chin in the front. It is a really cute hair style and I like it a lot but I am ready for a change. Thinning it out a lot is not the answer all it does is cuts your hair in certain spots you need a good straightener prosilk digitals are good ... straightening is fine this is the same hair cut i had, it was tough to grow out of course but I just kept trimming the front till it caught up. When it grows back out you will have a lot of cool layers. It takes time. You have to get creative in hair styles though. i spiked it for a while, when it got long i straightened it, or messed up the back or scrunched it.

I love your hairstyle the way it is, but your color is all wrong. You would look Gorgeous with deep dark chocolate brown almost black, especially since winter is coming. I use color syn by Matrix. The color 5WN and 5M would be a perfect color. You need to find a stylist that uses this color so you can see. Maybe your stylist uses Matrix. It`s very non evasive, has no ammonia and no peroxide, and will add tons of shine! If you do anything to your hair style I would just add a lot of textures. I think you will get bored with the bob, and miss your long hair to much. Maybe next summer. Keep it long! Send me a pic if you go dark I wanna see;o) Good Luck!!
From a model's point of view, a bob simply will not do you any justice what so ever. You have a heart shaped face, which is very pretty, but not so much with short hair. Save that for the ';square heads';.



As for color, I think a solid red (think maryjane from spiderman) would look good, with a little thinning haircut (like layering the bottom).

When I had a bob I had to style it every day to make it look good. It rarely came out right. And the few times it did, it either rained or the wind blew and it got messed up. I also had to wash it every day because it hanged in my face and gave me acne. It's a great style for someone who first of all, likes short hair. And for someone that wants/needs a quick wash-n-go style. You might feel a little naked but for the summer you'll love it. If you're not used to having short hair or you've never really experienced it besides childhood then it might be harder to grasp once it's all cut off. But i really liked it, i carried it for a good year and a half and now i'm ready to go long again. But then again, i'm a hairdresser so i'm always changing my style. Most clients that come into the salon and go with the bob love it and maintain it for a long time. Some people won't go back to their longer dos. it all about choice and how it'll make you feel. Hope I helped you out some.

Women bobbing their hair was just another form of teenage rebellion. In itself it didn't matter much, but the women who did it got boyfriends because they also rebelled against their parents, stayed out late, and generally weren't watched as closely as other women of their time. They were wild. They were crazy. You get the picture.





The bobbed hair did become a style by the end of the 1920s. Women didn't have to spend hours brushing and washing and setting their hair and they liked the time they saved. It became a mainstream fashion.





Probably early in the 1920s when it was still a rebellion sensible men didn't marry flappers (the wild young women), but the girls who weren't so wild--the good girls. By the end of the 1920s when the bobbed hair became the norm, men just accepted it. After all, what could they do when all the women were doing it?





Oh, the other thing that the flappers managed to do was change the hemlines. Before the flapper era, hemlines were ankle length. The flappers got them up above the knee (just barely in most cases). When the flapper era was over, the hemlines went back down to below the knee, but no longer ankle length.Did men in the 1920's like the women's new bobbed hair styles?

that style was women's rebelion against men.





it made women to look like men. now days its normal for women to ware pants, but back then it was not, it was too manly, and women always had skirts and long hair.





so it was not liked by all the older man, but was new, so liked by males. this happens now days too, like short short skirts, or jeans that shows girl's underware.
As with every generational style, the young men probably liked it and thought it was cool - the older men probably saw it as pushing the bounds of what is traditionally ';womanly';.

If the style was around very long then of course men liked it. Women do not wear outfits nor styles that repulse men. However the new look did appear more ';manly'; and it was a marked change from the longer hair commonly worn following the Spanish-American War. But I certainly think that men DID like it and that is why it was around until the longer, curled hair styles of the 1930s took over.

Advice for the time waiting for your hair to grow: Just flaunt what you have. Enjoy your shorter hair while it lasts. Heres a tip: My hairdresser said that when growing your hair, not to get it cut every 6 weeks as ussually advised, but every 4 months!Also to help take care of your hair, you will need to work out what hair routine suits you. like me for example, i wash my hair in the morning, tie it up all day, the next day i straighten it and the day after i re-straaighten and the next day i wash. I do this because my hair gets dry easily and washing causes it.

yes it can work if you do some things. i have a roundish face and previously had a bob. what you need o do is get the hairdresser to give you a side parting because that 'breaks' the roundness in your face. also it is goot to get some layering. bobs can look really good but if you want one on your jawline make sure that you get some feathering. it is vital or you will only achieve the bubble head look. i would say yes go for it, i had one and it looked really good. also it is wise to consider getting your hair thinned if itis quite thick otherwise it frames the face too much. good luck! xWould a bob hair style look good on a round face?

Generally no.

But it is dependent on a variety of factors:

1. Your hair type

2. How short you would like the cut

3. How much time you honestly think you will spend on it



Do not (no matter the type of hair you have) get a bob that hits above the chin and below the corner of your eye, this will make your face look extremely wide because it will hang at your faces naturally widest area.



If you have naturally straight hair than a clean cut bob that sits at least and inch or two below the chin and a few inches above the shoulders will look great.



If you have curly hair, do not get a bob (I speak from experience), because even if you have the time to style it everyday, after only a week or two after the cut it will begin to fill out and you will have a 'triangle' cut.....which is probably the least desirable on someone who already has a round face).

Thats what I did with my hair about a year ago. LOVED IT. It was so different than what I had and I got a ton of compliments. The only thing is that you have to keep it trimmed, because when it starts growing out it gets bottom heavy and looks really weird. So as long as you don't mind the upkeep, I say do it.
