use sponge curls at night depending on the size of curls get different size sponge rollers. u take a shower at night and then wen your hair is slightely damp use the rollers and sleep on em. take em out in the morning and vouala or howevr u spell thatCurly hairstyle for a school dance?
Ok I have about the same hair as you. What you need is to wash your hair and then towel dry it. Get a curl enhancing cream or gel (try garnier fructis curl scrunch gel or curl enhancing cream it's not expensive maybe $6-10 I have them both I think they rock) Comb your hair before putting in any product. Turn your head upside down and scrunch in the gel or cream. Use a diffuser to dry and keep scrunching your hair while you dry it. Turn your head (ear facing the ground) to the side and let your hair fall over your shoulder and let your hair rest on the diffuser. DO NOT COMB YOUR HAIR AFTER DRYING IT! It will get all frizzy and lose the curl. After you dry your hair you might want to curl it a little, depending on your hair texture. Then you can clip up the top part of your hair or whatever you want to do to it. Hope this helps! :)
Bump-its are so 1980s. Please don't wear one you will regret it looking back at your photos. Anyways Conair sells 'hot stick' rollers they are wonderful. It takes a few tries to figure out how to wrap them properly the ends can come out looking a bit straight. I suggest buying them and practicing but the curls last well in to the next day.

You can get them at Wal-Mart or Target.. Just use a basic aerosol hairspray then part your hair in to different sections put the 'stick' in the middle of the section then wrap your hair around it versus putting the 'stick' at the bottom of your hair then rolling up.. It makes a difference.
Okay, yes, big, bold, and beautiful curls are the way to go if you are looking for a very romantic look. Strait hair is more for edgy, young, hip^^, and very fresh. But since it is a ball, i reckon you go with the curls.

this is how i used to do it (my hair is strait, short, and spiky, i can't do it anymore) so, i would take a shower, to make sure I DO NOT have any hair grease. Then I will towel dry as much as I can. Then I would use ';perfect 10'; spray to make sure that the heat damage does not ruin hair. Comb though.

Blow-dry, but do not use a brush to make your hair strait. Then take your hair curler, curl it, and then, you have big beautiful curls. put some hairspray to lock it in. But not to much, don't want your hair to look greasy. Make sure to not just spray it on, spray, scrunch for 10 seconds, drop hair, spray.
i use a straightner to do my curls! this is how i learned!
