How to recreate wavy/curly hairstyle...?

Hey guys! =] I've always been a fan of a couple of Amanda Byne's hairstyles, but I'm a little clueless when it comes to actually trying them! Since I have hair that is a similar length and type, I was wondering if there were some tips/instructions that I might follow in order to try these out. Thanks a bunch! =]

Instead of grabbing hair ends with a curling iron and rolling the iron toward your scalp (traditional way), try wrapping your hair around the iron piece by piece. Hard to explain in words!!!
