Curly hairstyle with a retro dress? 10 points!?

I have an adorable black and white polka dot dress, it looks a bit retro. I'm wearing it to NYC tomorrow and I also have retro looking white t-strap sandals. I wanted to do my Taylor Swift curls but I want it to look retro too. I have a white pin-in flower that would look cute. Any hairstyle ideas?Curly hairstyle with a retro dress? 10 points!?

First off, your outfit idea sounds H-O-T :) I would suggest wearing your hair curly with a horizontal part through the middle of your head. That way half of your curly hair will be in a ponytail and half will be loose. If you have a bang, that will look super cute :) It will work for your white pin and any length of hair. Hope the pic below helps and hope you have fun in NYC :)
I think you should curl it and put it in low pig tails. You can put the flower up on either side if you want. It would look good with or without the flower. Both ways look beautiful.

if you wanted to wear it mostly down you could part your hair to the side and the side with more hair, pull back a small chunk and pin it with your clip. you might not want to do too much retro though because you don't want to look like you just came from the 60's
I think you should curl it but use the flower to pull back one side near your ear.

Do you like my red hair?

i love the taylor swift curls but the flower thing is cute but doesn't sound to me like what u r looking for instead have one side of the curls hanging in your face a little bit
Soft waves like curls that you can get with velcro rollers.
How long is your hair and what color is it?
