yes it can work if you do some things. i have a roundish face and previously had a bob. what you need o do is get the hairdresser to give you a side parting because that 'breaks' the roundness in your face. also it is goot to get some layering. bobs can look really good but if you want one on your jawline make sure that you get some feathering. it is vital or you will only achieve the bubble head look. i would say yes go for it, i had one and it looked really good. also it is wise to consider getting your hair thinned if itis quite thick otherwise it frames the face too much. good luck! xWould a bob hair style look good on a round face?

Generally no.

But it is dependent on a variety of factors:

1. Your hair type

2. How short you would like the cut

3. How much time you honestly think you will spend on it



Do not (no matter the type of hair you have) get a bob that hits above the chin and below the corner of your eye, this will make your face look extremely wide because it will hang at your faces naturally widest area.



If you have naturally straight hair than a clean cut bob that sits at least and inch or two below the chin and a few inches above the shoulders will look great.



If you have curly hair, do not get a bob (I speak from experience), because even if you have the time to style it everyday, after only a week or two after the cut it will begin to fill out and you will have a 'triangle' cut.....which is probably the least desirable on someone who already has a round face).
