What is a good hairstyle for curly hair?
i have realy curly annoying hair and never sure wht to do with it!What is a good hairstyle for curly hair?

so do you want it to curl less or more? if you want to ease off the frizz and get smoother more defined curls then layering it works very well. it takes the weight off the hair so that it can curl more easily. you will need to apply serum or product or mousse to your hair when it's wet and you can only comb it in the shower when conditioning but if you want a curly style that's the way to go. blow dry with diffuser and never touch the hair with the diffuser and have the head upside down. again takes the weight out of the curl and allows the air to flow. kerestase elastocurl is amazing.
if you want to lessen the curl then avoid layers. try to get it all pretty much one length. you can go for longer layers and maybe even a side fringe or full fringe if you want some variety but the key is in the weight of the hair - it will lessen the curl. i would recommend serum again when the hair is wet and again only combing it when it's conditioning in the shower. maybe a silkysexyhair moisture drench to silk the hair down and then blow dry with ionic hairdryer to get rid of fluff.
both styles should be cut into the hair at a good salon.

kk..i got a haircut and it's layered and it's pretty short.it's probably about 1/2 inch or 1 inch below my shoulders. my hair is like a mixture of wavy/curly/straight..the top part of my hair is kinda straight and then it gets to messy waves. i put it in a ponytail most of the time but i want to try something new..is there any hairstyles that fit me??

If you flat iron your hair a bit, that definitely opens dozens of doors of different hairstyles. Try doing that first and you can see where that leads you. If not, do the 'half up half down' hairstyle:

i like wearing it in a sloppy bun. its very nice and looks kind of similar to the third picture in the first question. it is very easy to do. im sure you know but just in case you don't:
begin to pull your hair up like you are going to put it in a high pony tail. then, tie it around twice. the third time, begin to tie it and then put in a bun. it's okay if its sloppy, hence sloppy bun. good luck!!

My hair is curly but not too curly. Well i guess i should say, its really frizzy. I use products to reduce the frizz though. It's also pretty thick. I want to know how to do my hair cute. I usually straighten it, but I have way to many split ends, so I don't want to keep straightening it. My hair is a little longer than my shoulders but its still not as long as I want it to be. If I come out of the shower and scrunch it, then hair spray it, later on it will dry and get shorter and its ugly. I have wavy hair and would die for curls, you say its just frizzy, I would suggest investing in a smoothing serum, I live by that stuff :D I would also reccomend looking at a different sort of shampoo/conditioner that is meant especially for curly/wavy hair, an excellent product would be Redken Fresh Curls, although I haven't personally used the produc myself, I use their All Soft range and its fabulous, really worth that extra money. My sister has unruly hair, and recently she has begun using Redken Fresh Curls, and after putting smoothing serum on after words, it looks brilliant. Also, make sure to comb your hair instead of brushing it, becaue your hair won't frizz up as much then.

What's a good short hairstyle for curly hair?

Do you know a hardcore hairstyle for curly hair?
I need a new haircut and i'm tired of having the fro I've been rocking for the last year or so.

I really want something radical or hardcore looking. The problem is my hair is really curly and I'm not into straightening it. It damages your hair, plus it's kind of a waste of time.(it takes hours for me)

Some people see dreads as a political statement, so careful there.
You could also take it all the way down, leave yourself just enough to cover your head. Just don't do that stupid sh*t where they carve designs into the side of your head.
You have one of those enviable bone structures where you can pull off damn near any look you want, so go crazy. Worst case scenario you'll look just fine with a buzz cut while it grows back ;-)

Punk hairstyle for curly hair?
i got my hair cut kind of punk-emoishh and i straightened it every day, but now its growing out and I want a hairstyle i can do that'll be more managable, because i have really curly hair, and when it dries it looks like this; (this is an old picture, before i started straightening itand i look really bad)

Well it already looks punkish with the pink in it, so keep that in and smooth the top of your hair(your roots and like 5 inches down) You can straighten them if their too curly. Tease your hair to give it vomlume so it looks pretty with the curls but edgy with the pink. Perfect combo!

And then get a red ribbon, tie it in a bow and hook the bow onto a bobby pin and stick it on one side of your hair
and dye it a dark black with like bleach blonde underneath

Ok, so my friend has really thick curly hair (very frizzy) and needs advice on what kind of style to cut it in. (my own is awfully straight so i'm having trouble helping her out here).. she needs a style for when she leaves it open, in which case she always straightens it. it's only curly when its extremely scrunched and in a ponytail. right now her hair is pretty long, she wants it somewhat shorter but not too much. So the style she wants to get cut is how she'll keep it WHEN IT'S STRAIGHT. any advice? she's avoiding layers because they're really a pain when her hair is curly and frizzy. pictures would be greatly appreciated.Best hairstyle for curly hair??!!?
