Try making thicker/more defined ringlets with a curling iron, pull your hair to one side and pin it into a low ponytail-looking style. leave your bangs out. it should look something like this - http://www.hairstyletwist.com/blog/uploa

I WOULD SAY SPIRAL CURLS
like put it on a low side ponytail with a clip or ribbon.
