Hairstyles for curly hair? please answer :)?

i have thick curly hair that goes quite poofy and frizzy, i usually tie the top half up and leave the bottom half down curly.

i want to try some new hairstyles that look good with curly hair... if anyone has any suggestions or ideas? links would be good too, and instructions on how to do them.

well if you have sidebangs, when you get out of the shower part it then hairspray it like crazy, (i use extra hold) then sleep on it. The next morning, straighten the bangs, all underneath your hair, and gently run the straightener over the rest of your hair to flatten out some of the curls, if you need to, add some more hairspray. and if you say frizzy, use any anti frizz cream or shampoo.
i have the same hair!

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. in the shower, only put shampoo on crown of head

2. put cream rinse from bottom of head down (like your making a ponytail) then massage the leftover (just the little bit left on your hands) into the scalp. comb through with widetooth comb.

3. when you get out, dont brush your hair. it could frizz.

4. After this, i always use a spray gel (garnier fructis) and let air dry

down with a braid on the side (pinned up)
get a thin head band (well not supper thin but no a wide one) and you can ether pull it back so the front of it is flat or you can leave it like this

My hair is exactly like that, and sometimes, what i do, is get one of those small jaw clips, and when your hair is wet, pull the sides back loosely, and just clip that back. Or also when your hair is wet you do a side part, and loosely twist each side and hold it back with one of those jaw clips. =) Hope this helps =)
until i got to like 16 i had the same problem my hair was like seriously frizzy and curly it was almost an afro !it wouldnt even straighten !!! this is what i did

if your hairs more frizzy than definate curls have a semi perm then use shockwaves mousse and gel on it it gives you a really nice definte curly wet look
I have very long wavy and frizzy hair. I started to use Herbal Essences long term relationship leave in split end protector for long hair and the waves (well, what used to be wavy) now look like i curled them. Also, I like doing a messy bun. Just start to do a ponytail, and the second time u r wrapping it around, b4 it gets the whole way through, flip it up then wrap it around to get a very messy bun! Hope this helps! also, u could straighten ur hair then put it in a high, side ponytail. SO CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! p.s. the friz on my hair also went away!!!
