Okay as for hairstyles...
~Low, side, messy bun w/ straight side-swept bangs
~Scrunch it, but loose curls, and the top front pulled backed w. bobby pins
~A girly big plastic headband (glitter or bold colors)
~Pigtail braids
~Play it straight, surprise your friends.
*TIP-
Wear each one for a whole week, and then switch to the next on the list. After the last week, wear your hair natural and you will get SO many compliments! It's crazy! Trust me, i followed this method and it came out just as planned!
For the latest modern, great looking hairstyles, either velcro or plastic rollers work the best. Also, its better for your hair and you can style it in different ways. This yahoo group has tons of pictures of the latest hairstyles. It takes a little patience because there are so many pictures to view. It might be of help.

i have blonde curly hair too! Even though mine is not quite thin, i bet what i do will look good. So, after i get out of the shower and comb my hair, i will do sorta a french braid on each side of my head. http://www.ehow.com/how_4472026_do-double-french-braid.html . in the morning, i will take the braids out and normally put my bangs up. hope this helps!! :]
