Well im turning 13 next week and i have really curly hair. Its about as long as my shoulders, maybe 5 inches longer. My skin tone is kind of light because im mixed with African-American and Filipino. Most people say i dont do many hairstyles and i should. So if you have any suggestions for easy hairstlyes that i can do myself pleasee help!! (and can you tell me how to do them as well?) Please %26amp;%26amp; Thank you!! (:What are different hairstyles for curly hair?

My hair is wavy with a slight curl. But I hope some of these work for you too.

Get a few fun hair clips. The claw ones are great and hold onto curly hair pretty well without breaking it, which would make it frizzy. They should be pretty sizable so they stand out against your hair. Buy ones that will match a lot of what you wear. You can use them to put half your hair up and leave half down, which also helps keep the weight and heat off your neck. You can also twist all of your hair in a quick updo. Experiment with pulling strands out that lie against your face or neck. Keeping those close to the edge of your hairline usually looks better.

A couple of headbands are a nice easy switch in style.

If your hair isn't too long, try parting it differently.

The best way to find out is to spend a day in front of the mirror with all the hair styling trinkets and scrunchies and whatever you've got kicking around and seeing what works for you.
Hey, I'm mixed too and I have the same kind of hair. Just wearing it down is cute and simple. Get a good conditioner and condition it before you comb it then run a little gel through it and it will look great.

Simple Curls are the prettiest style of hair if you wear then right (:
A pony tail, a plait at the back is always good. leave the hair out and a french braid across. ... umm, leave the hair out with a side parting and pull a bit from one side back. Quarter of teh ehad braids with hair out. :)
