I need a cut curly hairstyle ( pic included ) and my hair is getting straight?! whats happening?

and its been like this for a while and idk what else to do. i dont wanna go short and lately its been getting really big like a big puffball and its only curling in the front.. and lately when i come home my hair is like semi straight in the back.. is this because its really long and its too much weight to curl? what other hairstyles should i go with?
