Does anyone know any good hairstyles for curly hair?

I have curly hair, fairly thick, and i don't know what to do with it! When I straighten my hair, it goes really straight and looks quite thin, but I still don't know what to do with it like that either. It's my birthday party on Saturday and I want a hair style that is quite different and easy to do. I usually tie my hair back or leave it out with a bow/clip in... any ideas for hair styles? xDoes anyone know any good hairstyles for curly hair?

it depends how long your hair is.if its fairly long... you could put it in two really low ponytails and put a head band over every thing(not really holding anything in place. just to make it look cute)
maybe u could straighten your hair and take a little bit of your hair and put it up in a bobby pin or a little bow...


another cute thing is you could take your curly and put it in a messy bun almost on top of you head!!

Try putting a little mouse in it or gel after you get out of the shower and it will make it look nicer. Maybe you can straighten your hair and then curl to where there longer more relaxes curls and you don't have to do it to all of your hair and it will still look pretty. You can acccserise and put a headband in it or a pretty clip to pull one side back. It just depends on whatever you like.

I have the same problem!!! What i do when i get my hair cut which isn't often because i have a phobia of hair cuts! Is i get layers like it depends on your length you want but you get them done from underneath at the longest length. Then get your bangs done how ever you want them! But you have to have some one who isn't afraid of your hair! And it should be what you want! It also looks cute when straighten!

After you take a shower, put a generous amount of mousse in your hair and leave the curls as it is to dry and have a neat wet look. You can try it to see how you like it, few days before your party. You can even do an updo with that wet hair look, it usually looks nice.
I have been scrunching mine up with hair products for curly hair to cut down on the frizzies, staighten out some bangs, then pop on a headband. I have been buying all sorts of cute ones...it is fun and easy.

loose ponys and loose buns look great. if oyu try to make it look messy it will look fabulous!
